Interesting, I guess.

I don't pay much credence to what the military drives. Most of it is $$ driven anyway. The M14 debacle is the perfect example of that.

It will be interesting to see where these new bimetal cases bring us. Im sure we will eventually see them proliferate the civilian market too.

I agree. I like this merely because I want to see that cartridge become more available across the civilian market.

My son will be jealous to hear of this. He schlepped around a 27 lb. 240 bravo with several hundred rounds of 308 when he was in the 82nd airborne.
