Anyone have experience with this frame packing moose?

It just got released so I doubt there’s any real life experience with it yet but I am very interested in it. I have the Gen 1 and it has been great for hauling moose loads but I had a few gripes. Basically no load lifters made me wonder how much better it would have been with them. Also I replaced both the hip belt and shoulder straps with the heavy padded versions. They were better with extreme heavy loads (80-130lbs) buuut, the hip belt was a little bigger than the standard version which is fine if you’re a 34” waste or larger but I’m a 32 and probably borderline 31” by the time I get ready for my hunts. I could never get the extra padded belt tight enough. Also the hip belt would come lose under very heavy loads, needing to continuously tighten.

The new Gen 2 looks like it has solved all those problems.

Just save yourself the hassle and regret and get a Barney’s frame.
