New Action Camera Coming Soon

I was just talking to Lance, of Ultimate Predator Gear, about his bow mounted decoys, and he told me about a new camera that he's releasing in a couple weeks. They seem to have figured out a way to improve quality over GoPros while cutting the cost quite a bit. Intriguing.

Sounds interesting but I do have to say that image from the GoPro he has is the worst quality I have ever seen, almost looks like the lens was smeared with something with all the haze in it. Many own GoPro's and many have seen their videos, we all know it is better then what they put as a comparison.

That said I do like how more accurate to distance the predator is, hopefully it is as compact as the GoPro session.

Agreed!

GoPro's produce amazing quality videos and stills. Even stills taken from vids are great. They are pretty amazing cameras. However......

The problem with GoPros for hunting is the wide angle lens. GoPros are for unclose action, not shots at >20yds. They also don't do well in low light. I've killed several deer inside 25yds with the go pro running, and you can't even see the deer.

If these cameras can produce the quality of GoPro with a narrower field of view (i.e., >35mm) I'd be all about it!
