A friend who ran a pro shop used to see bent cams from PSE - have they beefed up the cams in recent years?

Back in the 1980’s when I first started there were 4 bow companies to my recollection; Hoyt, PSE, Martin and Bear. Quality was in that order. Back then Hoyt was high end I couldn’t afford so I bought PSE because Martin and Bear were crap. Since then I’ve owned equal amount of the Hoyt and PSE but never anything else with no reason other than lack of looking on my part. I can’t say one if better than the other but I do prefer Hoyt and it’s probably because they were top dog in my region back then.

i really like the evolve 31, all except the mass weight which kept me from buying one this year. I can see a carbon stealth in my line up at some point however the finish options really don't appeal me.

I want any bow i own to top out at 6.5ish as a finished weight so my starting point needs to be at 4 pounds max...

I can't see a 4 pound carbon platform in a hoyt, not when I am shooting aluminium riser bows at the same weight.

My first PSE was in 1983.
Still shooting them to this day.
I am still shooting my 2014 and 2015 Full Throttles.

Just love them.
I wish I would've kept my DNA as it was so compact and easy to mountain hunt with. But I love the 372 FPS speed allowing me (28.5" DL) at 68 lbs to shoot a 475 gr arrow at a crazy 295-300 FPS.

I too never cared for AB Strings and just switched them out with 60X custom colors.

I was eyeing the new Hoyt line, but just can't see switching. At least not until all the hype is cleared and the real world truths rise above the marketing fodder.

Bent from dry fires. I used to have my own shop and sold PSEs. The only bent ones i saw were from operator error. Dry fires and drops.

As a fan of Kryptek and Carbon bows, I may have to put the Carbon Stealth in my letter to Santa.

Unless it causes me to shoot even worse then I have been lately. Which is very unlikely.

If anyone has a pic of the bow decked out in Highlander I would like to see it.

Love these threads " my bows bigger than your bow " One of the fun things about owning my Expidition bow is most guys who see it have never heard of it.

I might be wrong, but except for some good natured joking I don’t think that’s the case here.

By the way, you misspelled “Xpedition”.

Sorry, couldn’t help it.

Received our first Carbon Stealth today. It’s a nice shooting bow. Super light of course but still has a good hold on target for the physical weight. It does have a little jump on the shot but that’s to be expected with the weight. My biggest issue is the grip. It’s just big and blocky feeling. Overall though it’s a great bow and should do well for PSE.
