My opinion is there aren’t any gun safes under $5k+ that will challenge a burglar looking for guns. Thin steel is worthless.

With that in mind, I think the next best strategy is multiple smaller safes that spread out the guns so hopefully the burglar tools break or they get worn out before accessing your entire collection.

This deal is beyond a good deal to be used as a sacrificial safe that can distract a burglar and also be placed to protect a side of another safe.

True, it’s not the best, but for $260 bucks it’s the best option. Especially for guys that have nothing yet.

You can’t stop the most determined theives, but you at least make them work for it, lol.

That’s the thing, it’s a lot of bang for the buck. Way better than the sheet steel stuff by stack on. Infinitely better than nothing.

i think people think that home burglaries are like a movie or something and some French super spy is going to melt a hole in their roof like a ninja.

If someone wants your shit that bad the answer is your homeowners insurance imo

My safe is full to the point I have rifles locked in cases under my bed and in the closet. I have been thinking of low cost ways to store them (kid-proof) and solutions like this a solid option.

Bought one of these when I moved out on my own. Yeah I moved it with a harbor freight hand cart, it did bend the axle on the hand cart..

But they’re a good little buy for the sale prices. Better than many in the same price range.

Picked up the 36 gun for 450 after $300 off plus 10% for online...quick 30 minute drive this afternoon to go grab it.

I picked one up before I knew about the online discount. I can fit about 12 long guns and 6 pistols in it. Pretty solid for the money. Got it to put in a big camper that I use for work. Fit just right. Heavy enough that I could feel it for a couple of days after installing it myself.
