Nevada Tag quotas and draw date

Overall, looks like deer tag numbers shrank, but a few units and license types went up, so need to look at your applied unit closely.

Also, the draw is scheduled next Weds 5/22 and results, by rule, have to be posted within 48 hours. Notwithstanding a computer glitch, we should know Friday, May 24.

They usually post about closing time so they don't have to take a million calls from hunters when the site crashes, so check early and check often.

Looks like the quota got cut in half for 221 antlered elk. That blows but they added 4 more tags for mtn goat. Maybe this will be my lucky year!

Wow. Elk went up substantially. And antelope (horns shorter) as well. Im feelin confident on that one. 3 points going in. Freezer hunt!

I'm only drawing mule deer. I picked area 7 & 10 archery so i'm feeling pretty confident. Kinda wish I had put in for elk too.....

I thought rubies mule deer went down. This year around 800 total and I thought last year it was around 900.

I could be wrong in the memory department though.

Slight increase for Any legal weapon. they drooped archery tags by around 200...

I think they're doubling the tags for residents this year on mtn goat. It shows proposed 8 and last year was 4. Unless I'm reading it wrong

Last year was eight this year four and the doubled rubies tag lasr year and they weny up again this year about twenty percent on rifle and archery
