I need to know if when and where to go scouting! If I draw 51 (deer) no need to scout...if I get 41/42 I need to get some new tires on the truck as I'll be doing a range by range survey of Pershing County. No tag and it's the Pueblos in Oregon.

why wouldn't you scout 51? That's a big unit.

I've hunted 51 numerous times...not worried about where to find deer. Could use the extra time to go fishing.

Tough to build points. Even when 10 is a last choice. Always a good time and pretty country though!
