Nevada cell service

Has anyone ever hunted or rode ATVs around the Jarbidge Nevada area? I want to know how the cell phone service is for Verizon in the area west of Jarbidge? If it's bad, does anyone have recommendations on what to use for sat phones? I'm looking at renting an Iridium Go but if I can save the money, or if anyone has better suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks.

unless you're up high, it's terrible all over that part of NV. I don't know sat phones, so no help there.

^^^^ ill second what Robby said. AT&T doesn't get reception within 80 miles of the Wilderness from my experiences. Verizon or Sprint may be better but I cant speak to that.

Verizon will work in a few areas if you are up high. Need to be able to see into Idaho to have any hope of a signal or over by Mountain City.
