Yes, 5 or so years ago was the last time and it was a common practice before then. The past several years they’ve posted a YouTube link to the draw on social media (Facebook) and the results have been posted 2 days after the draw.

Isn’t 30 points max for Rocky Mountain and 33 for CA BHS this year? (There will be a lot of guys with those numbers, but none with more, this year according to bonus point draw data from last year….)

Or you could be 2 months shy of 60 with 30 points for Rocky Mountain BHS with less than .2% draw odds along with the other 176 guys who applied last year with max points. I started applying for sheep in the Rubies after seeing and interacting with the herds for several years when I was doing back country archery deer hunts in the 1980’s and 1990’s. When the first hunt started I felt I’d eventually draw but several years of closed hunts due to two big disease events took the odds down even further than expected.
