I ran across a good deal on the pad but can't find a lot about it on the Internet. Does any one have any experience with this pad or do I need to spend another $20 for the xlite.

I like the Trekker because the pad is made with 70 d fabric and square vs the xlite with 40d, mummy but about 6-7 oz lighter

What's your thought.

I have the xlite and I've been happy with it but if I had it do do over again I would probably go with the Trekker. I prefer a rectangular shaped bag and my feet and legs always seem to wander off the mummy shape when I'm sleeping. Otherwise, it has been a great pad and I think you will be happy with whichever one you choose.

I've used the Trekker until yesterday (bear destroyed mine....) under a Sierra designs backcountry quilt. I really like the pad, but always wished it was a little lighter. I'm not sure the extra room in the Trekker is really needed, but it was nice for side sleeping. It's a toss up, comfort vs lighter weight. My next pad will be an xlite short.

Thanks I ended up going with the Trekker and to be honest wish it was wider on 20 inches my shoulders are right on the edge.

I have a tracker that's been cut down that I never use and wouldn't mind selling or possibly trading for other gear. It's a little under 4' long and a little over 2' wide, weighs 13 oz. Very well done cut down job and in excellent condition.
