I’m looking to purchase a new more ergonomically friendly to longer range stock. I really like the when there is a negative comb, so really that is the only feature plus thumb shelves and at least a semi vertical grip. I don’t mind weight that much just really can’t seem to find many except Axial Precision and they aren’t taking any new orders.

What other stocks are people really enjoying out there for long range currently?

Is there a question or are you just telling us what you like and your plan to purchase.

I just saw this one the other day. Lightweight and has a negative comb. If I ever move away from my XLR chassis I may pick one up

I have an MDT LSS XL gen2 on my longer range .300 Weatherby. I love it for specific vantage point applications, or for going on trips.

I also have a Rem 700 LTR. Factory rifle with a flash hider/compensator…….. it’s a straight up tack driver. There is for sure a reason it has been THE SWAT bolt gun for decades. Now though I miss my vertical grip palm swell and would enjoy not having to trick out the buttstock to achieve a proper cheek weld.

I love the look and reviews of the AG composites, alpine hunter, Visigoth, and chalk branch also. I know these are not negative comb, but they are back up selections.

Realistically this Rem 700 is my eastern longer range whitetail rifle. Hopefully it’ll be my sheep rifle one day as well. Need more ergo than the HS precision factory stock gives me.
