I need recommendations for some lace-up hunting boots. I hunt whitetail in a tree stand and blind in northern Arkansas from October to February, so im looking at temperatures between 0-70°f. The walk to the stand/blind is 200-300 yards. Should I get a boot with 0-200 grams of insulation and wear a lighter or heavier weight merino sock depending on temperature and maybe wear a boot blanket in late season or should I get a boot with 800-1200 grams insulation?

I’ve been happy with my Crispi line. I personally use the lapponia 3. They are comfortable, supportive, and gets the job done. Pair it with some thick wool socks and you should be good.

It also works well for wide footers like myself and I believe you can get them discounted.
