I just bought a hamskea hybrid hunter micro and it is vibrating and buzzing. I’m about to sell it and get something else if I can’t get it to stop buzzing. Is this normal for a hamskea? I feel like my Centergy is really loud already, and this puts it over the top.

No it’s not normal. Have you checked that everything is tight on the rest including the two bolts on the bottom?

Mine was making a buzz. It was one of the screws that holds the containment cage was loose, because I hadnt tightened it all the way after replacing the cage.

I will check both of those. I can pull the string back about a half inch and release it to get the “pop”, and that is enough to cause a very high frequency buzz. If I touch the arrow rest put any pressure on it with my finger, the noise stops when I pop the string.

Everything is tight. I’ve checked every screw and connection. The vibration is coming from the bar that rotates to raise and lower the rest. If I lightly tough anywhere on that bar or the arrow rest, the buzz stops.

Mine was doing that right after any adjustment I made with the Micro knobs. I figured out that it was the micro adjustment screws making the buzzing noise.

Each micro adjust knob for the windage and elevation adjustment has a hex set screw on the opposite side. After making an adjustment, make sure the large hex bolts for adjustment are snugged down tight, then snug up those smaller micro set screws. That should take out the buzz.

Hope this makes sense and helps!
