Need base layers fast, help!

Need some gear now lol, merino base layers. There r some companies out there that I think may make better merino products than Sitka n FL. Correct me if I'm wrong, thats why I'm here. Companies Black Ovis, Smartwool, WoolX, Icebreakers. Not Mtn ops yet cuz I only like Crew style shirts no zips. So anyone own any? Said to be the best stuff. I want 100% merino no added anything. Thnx

I’m far from FLs biggest fan but you’ll be hard pressed to beat their merino base layers. From personal experience, had black ovis and smart wool layers.

My favorite is Smartwool, followed closely by Icebreaker then FL(aerowol blend)

Does the smartwool move like the FL material? I'm looking at the Furnace stuff, thnx.

I’ve never had an issue with how it moved. The smartwool stuff I hunt in is 100% merino and is the most comfortable. If you plan on being active in Milder or even cool weather I would strongly suggest FL fuse over Furnace. I have both 200 and 250 weight smartwool, but the 200 is a better all around.
