Ooof… that’s a tough area to fix. Only thing I can think of is find a boot repair person or cobbler near you and see what they suggest. Or just use the tape and see how it rubs on the skin.Last year I had a boot drying “incident” around the campfire. I didn’t have any luck communicating with Schnee’s on an official repair. Anyone have any suggestions? All I could come up with was duct tape…
Maybe tape to cover the area and prevent more tearing, then glue felt outside of that?… that’s a tough area to fix. Only thing I can think of is find a boot repair person or cobbler near you and see what they suggest. Or just use the tape and see how it rubs on the skin.
I’m a little OCD so I’m laying out the steps of what you are describing to make sure I’m following.3m spray upholstrey adhesive with a fabric patch to match, stitch the edges as well.
