Neck sizing question

Hello,

I have 1 in about every 25 necks not get tight enough to hold a bullet. It’s 6.5 CM and I have changed our bushings and dies and still have the problem. Any advice?

Have you turned all the necks consistent?

I haven’t even looked into that. Getting a lath sounds too much and this isn’t that much of an issue at my level of shooting.

can you measure a loaded round of one that does not hold a bullet and some of the rounds that do hold a bullet?

Why did you decide against full length sizing?

Sounds like inconsistent brass. What brand? Have you measured the necks?

How much neck tension are you trying to run? Sounds like inconsistent neck thickness leading to not enough sizing.
What’s a fired case measure? What size bushing are you running?
