When flying to a domestic destination hunt, what items are required to be sourced at the destination (i.e., can't fly with them - even in checked baggage). I know you can’t fly with bear spray or cook fuel cannisters. Any other common items you can’t fly with?

Unless you were flying Penn Air...

Yeah I suppose you could use any bush transport service, you don’t go through TSA for that. Heck, you could probably walk right through TSA at a small airport with weed. If you don’t set off the metal detector they aren’t checking anything.

I once flew with Air Canada from Brisbane to Vancouver. They wouldn't let me fly with my Jetboil stove (the actual stove part) I was forced to leave it with the check in lady who kindly posted it to my home address on her own volition. I promptly sent her some cash when I got home.

The airline said there could be traces of flammable gas still in the stove. I told them you know I would release more flammable gas when I fart and that it would be in the cabin of the aircraft.
logic didn't wash with them.

Actually you can. If your flight originates in a place where weed is legal and departs where it is legal you can have it in your luggage.

This is wrong. Marijuana is still illegal under federal law, which prescribes the criminal code while flying commercially.
