NCAA Wrestling 2026

It's probably my age but it would be very expensive to have a better seat for all 8 mats than espn+. Comfortable seating, no bathroom hikes or lines, cheaper beer and food and I can rewind a scramble and be an officiating expert.
Yea. I get it. And I am NOT a big concert ticket type guy per se.

My Olympic Trials tickets were maybe $1600 for a pair for the weekend. Had good seats. My wife surprised me with GREAT Finals seats.

My Big 10 tickets were about $1200 for a pair for all sessions. I had better than OK seats but nothing too crazy. Close to Mat 4. Miles from Mat 1. Finals were Mid. As cool as the experience may be....if I don't have decent seats, I really don't want to go. All In or skip it.

I think decent seats for NCAAs all sessions might be $2500 per head. That's too much for me.

@Bearded Bowhunter I've attended Big 10s and Olympic Trials...as a fan and someone attending the big show...

Could you tell me how good or bad your seats were and would you tell me the cost of a ticket?

Something you would do again? It's a bucket list to go. State College is "home turf" to me and I have many connections in Pittsburgh for free lodging and vehicles.

St. Louis would require all those amenities to attend. An even bigger investment.

I grew up between Cleveland and Buffalo. All those Great Lakes cities are red brick, rust belt shitholes.....

At the State College events....the entire town fills up between the breaks. The bars are full. Shuttles run from event to town. It's a rather large and fun party between sessions.
Seats were upper bowl, but in the first few rows and right in the middle. I have been to 9 NCAA tournaments and actually prefer to sit upper bowl if I cant get seats high in the lower bowl. Easier to see all the mats that way.
Tickets were $500ish but I can get through my relationship with the program. I think lower bowl were about $100 more.

In my experience, anytime it is in the midwest, the cost to attend is just much lower as food, hotels, etc are all more reasonable than outside the midwest.
