I know, I’m usually not so cheap but it’s my commuter car and $900 VS $300 is steep. If it was my other vehicle I’d buy good ones.

Used Napa brand axles in 4 different clapped out Yotas now. Never had an issue. The boots tear sooner than the OEM boots but I usually replace those anyways.

I don’t know what vehicle but CVs generally aren’t hard. Took me about an hour to do both on my Tundra.

First time I had a lift and it was 20 minutes.

I agree they are "easy", in a shop, with a lift and battery powered tools. If like the old days where I'm doing it in my driveway in December I'm considerably less excited about doing it. Especially if it's round 2

I installed a NAPA re-man axle on a 2004 VW Passat.
Decent part, easy installation.
Took maybe 50 minutes for the whole operation.
