I'm really liking this, I currently have an Elberlestock X-1 tied to a Bikini frame as a day pack for predator hunting simply for the ability to quickly retrieve my weapon and then return it to the scabbard without removing the pack. At 5000ci along with the meat shelf it looks like this pack could very well be an all in one pack, what ever you decide to call it.
Any idea when it will become available?

"Crash" or "Crashpack"
-The Concept: A group of Rhinos is called a crash.

*Staying with the Kifaru theme from the Swahili dialect, the name could be "Ajali" or "Kishindo", both meaning Crash.

*In Japanese: Ki = spirit, Shin = Mind, Do = the way "Kishindo"

I'm thinking that this pack is the best of all worlds and it GROUPS all of the best features together in one pack. So a GROUP of Rhinos came to mind, = "Crash".

Regardless of its name, I will be saving a long time (need by ocotober though) for this pack. Unless I get extremely lucky!
Heck Just the honor of naming a Kifaru pack would be reward in itself.

The Kifaru Rambler or ramble.

Go well with a rambling rifle in the scabbard.

This pack has been a long time coming and something we've beeb working on for over a year. We wanted to offer a pack that does not use a Hypalon sleeve to hang from our frames and built to expand away quickly. I'm normally against this type of design for the bigger packs, so it took a lot of trial and error before we got it right for heavy load hauling and rifle carry as well.

The compression straps on the pack can be removed or moved to multiple locations, you can also adjust the Cargo Panel to a high or low mount position.

With the way we've designed the scabbard, you can have an elk quarter, your rifle and gear in one load with relative comfort and not a lot of screwing around with attaching and re-attaching compression straps.

BUT......WE HAVE NOT COME UP WITH A NAME.

So we'll start posting photos and you guys start giving us names. The guy who picks the name we use will receive this first of this pack of the line.

Good luck everyone and Happy New Year!
Aron, would you by chance have a photo of this pack compressed? Just curious of it in day pack mode.
