Yea, save the ounces and your money. Smart water bottles are where it’s at. Especially if you pack a sawyer!

IMO the best nalgene mod is to leave it at home and bring a disposable smart water bottle instead...

Anyone used the life straw filter insert? Been eyeing them for a while but haven’t heard much about them. In terms of holders the kifaru one is hard to beat if you have molle to attach it to.

I just picked up the life straw filter for mine recently. Haven’t gotten to try it yet but looking forward to it.

My buddy has a very solid flip cap that he got off amazon, is a pretty slick deal. Can find just about anything on amazon nowadays
