Mystery 105 tipped bullet at midway

Tried these out at 500 yards and they seemed to do well enough for hunting. At 300 yards, they were making a nice cluster ~ MOA or slightly better.

Will keep shooting them for now.

Have a bunch these loaded for seaoan. They're consistently sub 3/4 moa. 2870mv from an 18in 6cm. 272 g7 has trued up at 880y. Will see how they do on game in a week!
Keep us posted.

If I use my 6br for deer this season I'll give them a try as well. At the moment thsts the only rifle I have them loaded in

Nice I was able to hold off my insistent need to buy 6mm projectiles for this run lol
I have a lot of 6mm on the shelf, enough that I don't need to buy any for some time.
Keep us posted.

Have you ran them out very far? Furthest distance I have steel for verifying waterline within a short drive is 880y. Curious what BC you landed on.

I've only shot them to 600. I had input a BC of .512 when I made my dope for these. Just a SWAG I came up with due to the length falling between a 105 amax and 108 eld.

It has been close enough for shooting to 600 yards.

Ill add to this thread abit. These things shoot fairly well in my 6 dasher, shot a few varmints with them and they seemd to upset fairly quickly. I might section one and post pictures.

Dasher doing dasher things! I killed 3 deer with these black tips this fall, they left good wound channels, not the atypical eld bloodshot mess, but they were pretty long range kills, impact velocity was under 2k, 18in 6cm mv 2860.
