My second Seekins rifle that has issues

That to me this a bad post from Seekins. Having been associated with world class manufacturing globally most of my career ….the best ones don’t accept any failure. Do they achieve it no but the goal is zero. Hearing them say 3% seems to be ok and they had 3% before as a justification? So my question is how many new born babies is it ok for a hospital to drop?? That should be the standard. I’ve never purchased one of their guns and after reading these excuses from the owner I will not buy one
Don't ever look at numbers for Christensen then. You were also wrong in your numbers. 2% vs 3%. Not 3v3. No one is perfect and he admitted as such. You can strive to be perfect all the time, and you'll be short multiple times. It's just life. But whatever you like. All of their rifles I've had hands on shot extremely well. Someone with a manufacturing background should be the first to admit that 100% perfection isn't attainable.

True no one in mass production can meet zero defects. However any QC director who stood up in front of a board of directors and read what Seekins posted would be summarily fired. His comments were very defensive and he tried to compare to previous model failures as an acceptable reason for the new model defects. Hell your supposed to get better over time not worse.

I have to disagree with you here. I see valid points to both sides of the argument but, having spoken personally with Glen Seekins- all I can say is that he is a stand up everyday, average guy who started his empire from the ground up. From the service I have gotten from him directly, it's clear to me that he really does care about his customers. It was a post from him personally and I have to admit that his writting skills and message relaying are not his strong points. He's just a normal guy with A LOT on his plate who will stand behind his product. That's how I read his comments regarding the failure rate. I also don't imagine his company being filled with employees that are top of their class in the public relations world etc. So he wrote it himself... which I like about him and his approach. I've written worst things.
That being said, I'm a owner of 3 Seekins guns. My PH2 7prc is my go to for a rifle I can count on. My Hit Pro gen 2 was not accurate and I still don't know why as I tried 2 of their barrels and it still wasn't up to par. My new PH3's action screws kept coming loose so accuracy became an issue and at that point I was like "nope! I want a new gun that is supposed to work".
So, he's replacing the Hit Pro gen 2 to the Gen 3 and a new PH3. I'll be getting them both back at the same time any day now. If one or both don't do as expected for any reason, God forbid - I will be asking for a refund (I expect them to understand).
I don't think I would give up on Seekins if the worst was to happen... I would just sum it up to me being stuck in the unlucky 3%+ and them pumping out some shody lots.
I would keep my ears close to the ground and follow up on any updated, rectified future builds. I love my Seekins rifles. Even though I had the 2 "lemons", Glen Seekins made it easy for me to not be super upset about it.
I'm super nervous ya. And maybe I'm just a fanboy after my PH2's performance and the amazing customer service. But that's why to me - Seekins is king... for now.

I've seen proof targets like that from them too. And the gun still didn't shoot. My buddy specifically asked for a 10 shot group but they wouldn't do it.

I don't mean to shit on them so hard and I sincerely hope your guns shoot and are reliable. I'm just relating some very familiar experiences.
That was my exact experience as well. They refused to shoot a 10 round group when I requested it.

If he’s an average guy ….then he needs to hire above average professionals to run his QC department. Good luck on yours
