Consider some extra socks and work gloves. I always carry 3 pairs of socks. 1 pair dedicated for sleep, 2 to rotate for hiking. I'll wash a pair with Bronners soap and let dry on my pack. I don't know how many times my foot has sunk in a mud hole and would have been in trouble if I had to hike in soaking wet socks. Take care of your feet!

Also a disposable mask. I had to hike through some disgustingly heavy smoke last year and resorted to wetting out a shemagh around my face to keep from vomiting.
