How many bow hunters can say they're on a T-shirt? Got to think the list is pretty short, which is why I was thrilled when BOW ADX contacted me about using one of my photos for a new T-shirt design. I posted the photo in a picture thread on archerytalk.com, and one of the co-founders came across it and asked if they could use the photo. The shirts were just finished this week, and I got mine today.
I also think it is really cool to see our style of hunting featured on apparel, regardless of my personal involvement. Too much east coast whitetail bias in the bow hunting media, in my opinion. I didn't ask for anything in return for using the photo, and was happy just to get a few free shirts.
Anyway, just wanted to share.
Here is my original photo taken after our first snow last November in the Mount Hood National forest. I was up hunting the late deer and fall bear seasons, and almost snuck in on a bear that morning but the snow gave me away.
