Congrats on a great bull! I know what you mean about the rack smelling like air freshener. The bull my buddy took was the same way, complete w/ bark dangling from the daggers. He's been pretty clear w/ the taxi that the bark is to remain on the mount.

I have done the same if there is any velvet left on the moose or deer racks (usually hanging) or bark ground into the white tails antlers it gets left on!

Some unofficial numbers (scored it myself, have done quite a few animals), 317 6/8 gross....308 net. Biggest scorable circumference is 8 6/8".
I'm more about the hunt and the adventure than the score, but I do enjoy scoring the animal for curiosity sake. He will be going on the wall.......
