Muzzle break opinion

Considering putting a break on my 7 rem mag. What’s everyone’s opinion on brands?

I prefer not to have them on most rifles. The terminator on my 300rum works rather well though.

I can’t decide. I don’t need it for myself but have my girlfriend and other family members shoot the gun that a break would definitely benefit. It’s a heavier gun so the recoil isn’t terrible but the more shootable the better

SRS makes some nice brakes. Ti Pro 3 port (or stainless version) work well.

Good suggestion, but he's in CA so no suppressor.

it will cut down the recoil but the hearing damage on a magnum is pretty bad. even with ear pro. bc of that I shot my 7mag without a brake. that said the PVA brakes are light and have little/no concussion. I had apas lil bastard before and the concussion was way worse

Eric Cortina EC Tuner Brake or Precision Armament M41 Severe-Duty. The M41 doesn't hurt your wallet as bad but has served me well on a 30-06.

Only for hunting, you could practice with lead no problem. The 223 is a good recommendation. I just bought a Howa mini from Turners on sale for $360. That’s pretty cheap to get into a gun that the girlfriend will enjoy shooting much more than a braked 7 rem mag.
