Let us know what's on your gear list when you're hunting out west. Are binoculars top priority for you? Do you bring lens covers? What are your other must-haves?

Reliable proven weapon system and a scope that holds zero,
You can kill game without binos, or the nicest Kuiu jacket.
Boots, pack, fire starter, sos system, H2O needs, are also must haves.

Are you looking for gear lists? This question is so broad it’s hard to even answer. What kind of hunt? Backpack hunting? Basecamp from a vehicle? What time of year? Elevation? Species? Weapon system? “Must have” gear can totally change depending on these factors.

A Sherpa. Need someone to carry my gear list. Golf clap for me when I make an average shot and then tell me what a handsome and powerful man I am.

Since this is optics, and since you can’t beat the 14x52 NL pures, Maybe you can work on theses two

10x42 Rangefinder bino under 28oz(basically beat Leica R in glass and weight)
3-15x 44 FFP that hold zero heavy through abuse under 25oz

Saw that after clicking on OPs profile. If they’ve got a product to sell, just make an introduction and tell us about it. This is an odd approach

Yeah, unusual approach. Typically see such threads from FNG's trying to get their post count up to use the classifieds. The OP in this case is a Rokslide sponsor, been around for four years. This was posted in the optics section, so assume that is the question being posed.

Since this is posted in the optics section, assume you are asking about must-have optics and gear?

For archery hunting - items that come with on every hunt are a range finder and binoculars. Range finder is mounted on hip belt of backpack and binoculars are attached to chest straps. Pretty simple setup!

For rifle hunting - rifle scope mounted to rifle, binoculars on chest.
