Its a shame that people with notoriety keep putting hunters in a bad light to the public. The people that do everything the right way dont get enough credit.

When people have an appearance and ego to uphold, you might be surprised by what they're willing to do to stay relevant.

I'll say it again, to err is human. Insta heros are just like you and have faults. Once you begin worshipping man, you will be let down eventually.

This is an overlooked point. The “public” hunters say, “look at me, look at me!” So people do, and stuff like this happens and then said public hunter says, “give me my privacy, give me my privacy!”

I don't like kicking people when they are down but I hope this puts an end to the worst long range hunting videos on the internet. States should use them in their Hunters Ed classes to show students what not to do.
Ryan,
I couldn't agree more. His one mule deer video when he hits that deer far back spine.. and then instantly proceeds to brag and say " I told you I can shoot" was all I could handle of his videos. The shot was certainly nothing to brag about, guy seems pretty arrogant.

I don't follow any insta bro's, or watch his youtube stuff, but I did see one of his MT deer hunts on another forum. The one where he shoots a little 125" mule deer at a long range. He clearly hits it high above the spine. He's instantly up off the rifle doing his bro hugs and thanking God with his back turned to the deer. Meanwhile the deer gets back up and stands there offering plenty of time for a follow up, but he's to distracted to notice before it runs off. It was pretty damning evidence of the douchebaggery within him.

And behaviour like like this is considered “pro” hunting?

I'm curious to see how he's going to try to spin this. They never just go away forever, and they never seem to just come out and apologize and say they did wrong.

I think they will just try to suppress any negative comments on social media so the majority of their followers never know. Same thing happened with Adam Greentree and WyoHighCountry/Heavenat10k

Another day, another thing to make me disappointed to live in Utah again. Why!

Apparently he is threatening anyone who posts about it with legal action for defamation. Not the right approach in my book. He depends on us hunters to support his business.
Own up to what you did, explain yourself, apologize, do something to help the hunting community/conservation is about the only shot they have to save the business. Can't shoot yourself in the foot and wreck your literal only customer base.

Yeah...I had an attorney threaten me for posting a report about a bogus fishing charter agent that had ripped off my friends and had multiple court judgments that i had links to in my post. Truth is absolute defense against claims of defamation, slander and libel and I told his attorney to pound sand, that he had a POS for a client and if I heard from him again I would file a formal complaint the state BAR. That attorney tucked tail and disappeared AFTER agreeing his client was in fact a piece of ____.

You cannot suppress social media and if you try, the exposure will quadruple.

Maybe he will embrace it. Start selling MuleyFelon tshirts, chest rigs for spotlighting deer, and youtube videos on top 10 ranches to trespass on.

Well stated. You can be whoever you want to be online.
