Last 2 days were pretty lucky! Found a 5x off a buck I have 2 sets off already,,, That 5x is a year old but looks so fresh!! Deep grass under a tree,, about stepped on it! Been lookin for that specific antler for a year! Also a big typical set

How close was the 5x to the other sets you found from that buck? Same hillside? Same trees? Curious what their winter habit is like.

My wife and I have gone out a few times and have had a hard time finding sheds from this year. Found this one last Saturday...just wish I would’ve got it when it was fresh.

How close was the 5x to the other sets you found from that buck? Same hillside? Same trees? Curious what their winter habit is like.

Very close!! All but 1 on the same ridge 1/2 mile apart max...but these are desert bucks Iv kept track of that live low and in a small area year round... Iv had less luck keeping track of migratory deer and finding their antlers.,, they seem to jump ridge to ridge more...

Best find so far wasn't sheds! But it still counts I'd say...and a few freshies to top it off. Props to my buddy Jordan for picking out a new spot off the maps this winter.

No wounds on the bull, he was frozen solid. He was very emaciated, zero decay either, so im guessing he starved/froze to death. He was around 6 miles in, 3 on a trail trail then 2500 feet up and over a ridge onto some south facing meadows/mixed timber.
