Mule deer makes you fart?

Alright, I'm beginning to notice a trend. Everytime I eat mule deer I have to fart for about a day after. They dont stink much but I fart a lot. Anyone else have the same issue? I asked my boss and he doesnt have any issues with his deer from this year.

Yep. Mule Deer... elk... bears are the worst. Never have the luxury of them not stinking either, so you should be grateful for that!

Game birds are my least favorite stink for sure

Nope. Never really noticed anything with wild game. Eating a lot of protein can cause gas. It happens.

It is because you are eating more protein. Eat less, or fart.

Noticed this with my first elk last year. The whole family loves the meat but it makes me fart way more then venison. Not sure what the story is.

What kind? Ive never had an issue with pheasant or dove. Havent ever tried waterfowl yet
