Mule Deer Glendive, MT

Hello all. I am looking for a starting point to get on some mule deer in the Glendive area. Have an opportunity to bring my son out there this weekend and was hoping to get him on some deer. I have to run him in the hills to make up for the wrestling practices he will miss so not afraid of terrain. Appreciate any pointers.

We hunted antelope several years ago just north of Falon and seen some Gagger mule deer. We were on private but seen a lot of the deer in CRP fields which I think we're state. Good luck!

Thank you. Doing the due diligence of research now. We are leaving from MN tomorrow morning. Glendive is about six hours for us so I though I would use it as a base.
