If the cougar is already in the hot tub before you get in - and then you get attacked, it's you're own fault. Sort of like poking the bear is a bad idea, poking a cougar can be just as dangerous.

Admittedly, when I was 21 years old, I too was attacked by a cougar in a hot tub. It wasn't in Colorado though. It was an unforgettable experience.
