Selling landlocked state parcels to lessees proposed in Montana water bill

The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, which manages state lands, has identified 1.25 million acres spread across more than 3,200 parcels of publicly inaccessible state land.

This bill made it through the house on a party line vote despite the Gov and Farm Bureau opposing it. If you live in a Republican district and don’t want to see this happen, please speak out to your senators. I can contact my representatives all I want but they’re both democrats and I know they’re voting against this.
