I drew the Mt. Emily regular season buck tag with no points. Im hearing from people that it has gone drastically downhill for deer and I should take the first buck I see. Is this everyone's experience? Thanks guys

Ne-06. I would agree that mule deer are definitely down. Ive hunted weneha for elk several times and saw a lot of nice bucks but they were mostly whitetail. I believe my tag covers bothNE-06? You could probably say that same thing about any of the new mule deer units, most all of them are below management objective.
I believe the NE 5 and 6 ones are the only "any buck" tags out of that NE region.. did you get the regular season or score the late tag?Ne-06. I would agree that mule deer are definitely down. Its just the regular season tag. It is any buck though. Specieis doesnt matterI believe the NE 5 and 6 ones are the only "any buck" tags out of that NE region.. did you get the regular season or score the late tag?
If you got the November tag I would never shoot the first buck you see! Seems like any eastside tag that has a late season can always produce nicer bucks, which always leads me to believe a patient guy can get lucky in the earlier seasons too!
