MT elk point deadline?

When is the drawing to get a point for elk in MT? I know in 2023 I applied 11/4/23

No drawing if you are buying a point. You have to purchase it by 12/31.

If you bought a bonus point in 2023, you still have it and can buy another if you apply for a LE tag this application season. Otherwise, you will be able to buy another one during the second half of 2025.

If you bought a preference point in 2023, you no longer have that one. You can buy one when you apply for a tag this year, but with only one point you won't draw. You can buy a preference point without applying during the second half of this year, but then you'll have to apply next year or you'll lose that point again.
