This year I was lucky enough to draw the 799-20 Bull rifle tag for basically all of SE MT. I have hunted this area for deer for about 11 years now and know it very well and have seen plenty of elk. But if you have hunted there you know how transient the elk herd can be down there especially come rifle season. Is there any one on here that has had this tag before and is willing to chat about strategy? I am not looking for anyone's spots, I could possibly help out with some deer hunting tips for down there.
