I wonder if they use the same vendor as Idaho and South Dakota, they’ve both had major screwups in their draws last couple years including over allocating sheep tags in Idaho 2 years ago

They do the draw themselves.

The Montana glitch got me....I believe it showed unsuccesful on the initial draw so was not on the radar. Got a call a month ago from Montana saying i drew and telling me i needed to purchase my tag. Talk about being completely blind sided in an amazing way.
Drew with only 8 points....don't hate me =)
Unbelievably excited to go after a bighorn, didn't think i would be sheep hunting again for a decade or two

I was physically sick for about an hr (good sick) was just so out of the blue not on the radar with the draw that happened months before
Felt like I got hit over the head
