Weight seems to be identical. Only minor difference is that they don't seem to have the minor curve to the blades, but for less than half the price they seem to be worth a shot.

My local store sells them for 0.74 each. I used them this fall, worked great. They bend if you're really hard on them, but you can bend them back.

I'm running those coghlans stakes with my tipi and they work great. They are probably 6061 instead of 7075. Yes you can bend them but it will be your on fault. It is very apparent when you hit a rock. If you keep pounding on it, it's gonna bend. Our first camp was very rocky soil. I was getting very frustrated hitting rocks with every stake and trying multiple angles. Sometimes I would give up and just keep pounding and they would go in. Probably squeezing between rocks. I had no breaks. I think we did bend one but just tapped it back straight against a tree or rock. I was running 16 of them so that's not a bad average for the price.

I run the above as well. Set the tipi up in multiple rocky areas- they will bend, but- so will the groundhogs (just as easily for me, thats why i started running these- bent a pack of groundhogs) So for waaay less- a great holding stake that i dont care near as much if they bend or break.
