I'm looking for feedback from owners of these new MRC rifles. There is very little feedback online, on huntig forums, very little from outdoor publications. Personally I don't trust gunwriters anyways, they're always biased and pushing agenda.
Let me know how your experience has been, please post your 10 shot groups, any problem, experiences with MRC customer service, your overall impression.
Please, only respond to this thread if you're an actual buyer of a new MRC rifle. I've owned 3 of the previous gen made in my back yard when they were in Kalispell. I wanted to love them, but the accuracy was not great, fit and finish was sub par, and all 3 made trips back to manufacturer. Upon their closing, I picked up several 6mm and 6.5 blanks from their local going out of business sale. I sent all 8 to my smith dial in and check for runout. I ended up throwing them all away, as they were all over 0.010(worst 0.018") off center from muzzle.
With their poor QC and production in general I'm happy to see them under new ownership and manufacturing in a completely different location of the country.
