Any one used one? Been seeing them on sale and thinking of picking one up.

I don’t have any first hand experience with it but have been using a MR Glacier for two years. The layout is about the same with the Glacier being a little smaller than the Metcalf and the Terraframe 80 is slightly larger with better organization than the Metcalf. The Terraframe uses the same frame as the hunting specific pacs and is rated for 150 lbs. I would buy it and not look back.

TerrafrAme is the latest version of the terraplane. Versions of it have been the top of the heap for backpacking packs for 30 years. Great pack. As of 2020 they are mounted on the guidelight MT frame so share same features as hunting packs. I love that design - those torpedo pockets are great for easy access gear. If I hadn’t just bought a beartooth I might pick one up myself.

Did you call MR? Their customer service was excellent in helping me fit my Glacier. They also have some excellent videos on adjusting the packs.

Was it the one one sale? I'm was looking at the same and couldn't tell what if any difference between the sale model vs the one on the Mr website

I’ve owned a few MR packs over the years with internal frames and never had trouble fitting them. I’m pretty familiar with how they adjust. For some reason I couldn’t get it comfortable on torso or shoulders.

Don’t have pack anymore, took it back to REI.
