cool!! you mind me asking which scope? i'm not sure my Vortex would fit horizontal. very good idea. that is a good safe placement and quick to reach. i might copy you.

My buddy runs a kifaru spotting scope pocket down the middle back of his Metcalf. He wove the roll top compression straps through one gap of the slider bars on the top of the pocket. Then he used a K clip compression kit to attach the pocket's bottom tabs to the ladder lock tabs at the base of his Metcalf. When you run your metcalfs center compression straps it holds that thing solid.
