Looking to get into a new pair of Sitka pants. September October up around 8 to 11,000 ft. I have the kryptek cadogs but they are a bit much in September when it's cold in the morning then warms up in the day. The pants seem to be fairly similar. Looking for some reviews from users. Thanks!

Do a search there was a similar thread not too long ago - I have used both and prefer the mountain pants.

I have a couple of pair of the 90% pant and the timberline. I use the 90% for October deer and the Timberline with merino wool base for elk hunting. The timberline are so damn nice to hike in.

The worst part about the Timberlines is the reinforced butt and knees but that's also the best part. They make a lot of noise as you walk and fit much tighter not terrible but more fitted. I would like a pair for high country hunts - ie sheep and goats but i like the mountains more for an all around pant from August thru October with just a base layer under.
