Mountain Lion Taxidermists

Heading to Utah in a couple weeks on a lion hunt. Want to do a full body if I get a good tom. Looking for taxidermist recommendations. I live in Nebraska so anyone in Utah, northern Colorado, Wyoming or western Nebraska would be an easy stop on the way home. Thanks!

I'd say the best is Phil Soucy in Montana. Another one who gets some praise is Big Cat taxidermy in Colorado. I don't particularly like the faces of the lions the guy in Colorado puts out though.

Whatever you do, please make sure you look at any taxidermist's work before you choose. The alteration of the form, the eyes, and facial detail is what makes or breaks a lion mount.

Cliff Carney at non typical taxidermy in delta CO did my sons and has mine right now. I was super pleased with his work. Great people to deal with. Got my sons back in 8 months. Killed mine this year beginning of Dec and I’ll pick it up in November when I’m in CO for a mule deer hunt.
