I’m kinda in the market for a new turkey gun, And on paper, the SA-20 turkey looks good, it’s 5.5#, has truglo iron sights and a pic rail, and is under 1k$

Anyone know of any shortcomings of the SA-20 line? My beat up 12ga nova is getting a little long in the tooth, and with TSS, I want a 20ga… also want a reliable gun

I think they look solid, I went the mossberg budget route grabbed a 500 bantam in 20 5lbs, threw on a pistol grib stock and a red dot, it’s a tad more pellets than my single shot .410 and will be good for kiddos when they are older. Ceracoated it I need to rattle can now

We have a 500 bantam as well, mostly use it for a slug gun and has a 1-4x scope on it, it’s technically my wife’s gun. My father in law bought it a few years ago, had a smooth barrel and a rifled barrel, but my father in law gave it to her because she keeps filling deer and elk tags with it

Put a limbsaver pad on it, and have nothing bad to say about it. I want my wife to have her gun hers or I would just use it

I have grown to like turkey hunting enough that I want a dedicated gun for it.

if you really want to stick 20 gauge, check out the beretta a300 turkey. i can't see buying a turkish gun when there's alternatives at the same price.

Yep it’s fun to just have a turkey gun… I have a few haha but once I got into the tss I’ve retired all my 12 guages basically , they are sort of one trick ponies, but can double as a predator gun if you hunt heavy veg areas for coyotes

Yeah, I am ready to retire my 12, though it’s a lot more pleasant to shoot since I put a recoil pad on it, but I will happily take less recoil when I have the choice
