would anyone use a head like a wasp sharpshooter or a solid steel 3 blade?

I’ve used single bevel on a few animals but blood trails have been poor

I plan to shoot two blade single bevels out of my recurve this fall for moose. It seems to me that if you make a good shot, they arent going very far and shouldnt be difficult to find once they fall.

I’m sold on the tapered COC heads. I would use a 3 blade VPA…and have.

Blood trails have been more dependent on shot location IME. I have great blood trails with lower 1/2 shots and 2 blade heads. Even back when I was shooting compound/ mechs, high shots left crummy blood trails, complicated by the fact the impact got them running like their tail was on fire.

I guess Im more into the new age type bows. About 5yrs ago friend sent me an ILF recurve at 40# for whitetails and I havent put it down since. This year I will hunt moose in Alaska with 50# limbs. 650ish grain arrow. 2 blade single bevel broadhead that I sharpen myself for maximum sharpness. Goin with trad vanes because they say there is a chance it might rain.
Not if - but when and how hard it will rain!!!
