Moose hanging in the yard

Not uncommon to see moose around the place. This cow has been around for a bit now. Hopefully she'll attract a legal bull. I'll start doing some cow calls while putting around in the yard. I've called a few bulls in.

When I'm calling, and a cow come in, seeing that I'm not a cow or bull most times they will stay around and some start eating. That tells me my call sounds just like a cow or bull.

One year I read that a biologist said his cow call sound like a milk cow. That hunting season I had a cow come in and after seeing I was not a moose she stays and was eating100 feet away. I decided to make a milk cow sound. MOOoooo...... the cow, instantly stop feeding it ears were trained on me and ran away screaming in terror.

I've had that reaction from girls, when I said something wrong, but never a cow moose. LOL

Did you know, making a MOOoooo, sound will call in Ravins, that will circle overhead, looking to see what made that sound. Try it and see if it works for you.
