Was looking at the Montbell website and took a peek at their merino baselayers and was intrigued. 100% Merino, same weight as the comparable Smartwool bottoms all for the price of.... $59 for the midweight bottoms.

That is a incredible price considering most merino midweight bottoms are around $100. Anybody have a pair they have used? All the other Montbell gear I own (15degree bag, fleece top, and a down jacket that was sadly lost) have all been incredible. I may get a pair of the bottoms and wring them out this fall/winter but am interested in hearing a few opinions first.
I will head out to the Boulder store next week and check them out
