I have an artist friend who is going to enter the contest to design the new Montana Wildlife Crossing license plate. She is an incredible artist, a budding young hunter, and a dedicated conservationist.
From what I’m reading, MT wants the artwork to depict actual wildlife crossings in the state. With the power of the internet, we can, and have searched for images. There are some great ones out there, but some from Wyoming being mistakenly credited to Montana have made me a little wary. I’d like to be 100% sure she is working from an actual Montana crossing.
Then I thought, the Hunt Talk guys probably know of some lesser known crossings, so what I’m asking for, is your local knowledge. Do you know of a cool crossing? One that you either have a picture of, or you could take one easily, or point us toward an already existing image?
Visually, she really likes the smaller ones like this…

…but is open to any ideas, I know you guys are passionate about wildlife, Montana, and conservation. I really appreciate any insight you can provide, thanks.
