Wow ! Went from 307 to 1918. Guess I won’t be hunting Montana this year.

Went from 440 something to 1850. What a let down. Did anyone get a better number? How come it is so difficult for many of these states to run a random drawing? Guess I’m just a simpleton.

It sucks for sure but unless there is a place to check that you have an outfitter when signing up on the list I can’t see FWP knowing who has or doesn’t have an outfitter.

Outfitters call and give them client names? Then MFWP manually puts them at the top. There are no checks and balances so I wouldn’t be surprised if they made it happen to appease the outfitters association.

If you call FWP they tell you on the automated recording what number is up. Next batch goes out Monday.

Awesome. I got the call the Sunday prior to season end (week of Thanksgiving) and couldn’t swing it so I opted to pass.
